very cool title screen. I can't seem to get the objective at all though...

Hello :) The goal is to locate pixels that have hidden switches on them! The only way to do so is to pay attention to the sound they emit! And if you find all of them, you get a little reward :)

seems frustrating. once you have two tracks running you can't hear any additional music unless perhaps you're right on top of it.

Thanks for trying! :) Yeah we are aware this is very difficult or at least very long. We didn't intend to make it so but ran out of time to balance everything properly (the maps are too big, some sounds too discrete etc.). Sound feedback is very hard to balance and so subjective! We had a lot of friend playtest this but we couldn't really fix the main issue in the end! Lesson learned! :)
